I found myself at HMS when I experienced sudden sensorineural hearing loss. I contacted a few HBOC places originally, but as soon as I spoke with Ivory, my decision was made. Every single person at HMS contributes to the most positive, calming, friendly atmosphere. They all make a point to get to know you, remember your name, and make you feel at ease. Ivory worked with my insurance to get coverage and kept me updated throughout the process. My protocol consisted of 20 HBOC sessions. The sessions were comfortable, clean, and monitored closely by staff. I can genuinely say that it was bittersweet to finish my 20 sessions and not be seeing the familiar HMS faces so often. I cannot recommend HMS enough! Thank you to the team for everything!!!

I came to visit HMS due to sudden hearing loss. I had a consultation session, which I was educated about how HBOT works. The front desk Ivory is extremely communicative and helpful. I received pretty quick response via email/phone call for my insurance and billing questions. As soon as my insurance approved my treatment, I started my HBOT on the same day. All chambers are clean. All staff members were super nice, they took care of me with great patience. I basically spent time there watching TV. Scheduling is easy and flexible. My hearing level also improved during the treatments. Overall I had a great experience with HMS!

When I had a consultation - I never ended up seeing actual doctor. Later I was told that my assigned protocol was reviewed and approved by a "doctor" whom I never saw nor did he look at my MRI images or anything. All they asked was an x-ray of my lungs. I guess for liability reason. Then they proceeded to put me on 2.2 ata which apparently is potentially toxic and dangerous for a person with TBI, especially for a first timer. Really disappointed because I was really counting on HMS to help me heal.
