About BestHBOT

Who the site is for

Most people who use BestHBOT are patients, caregivers or family members. Some have been referred for HBOT by a doctor, often for a wound that won't heal or a radiation injury. Others have read about HBOT online and want to know what is real before they spend money.

We built the site for both groups: a quick way to see which providers are near you, and honest guides that keep proven uses apart from marketing claims.

What's in the directory

The directory lists more than 750 HBOT providers in all 50 states. They fall into three broad groups:

• Hospital programs, often run through a wound care or hyperbaric medicine department.
• Medical clinics, such as physician practices and outpatient centers.
• Wellness centers, which often use mild (soft-shell) chambers.

Each listing shows what we have for that provider: name, address, phone number, website, opening hours and its Google rating with the number of reviews. City pages list clinics nearest first. You can browse every provider on the all listings page.

Where the data comes from

Listings come from Google Places, the business data behind Google Maps. We search Places for HBOT providers in each state and city, then run every result through a filter that drops businesses that don't offer HBOT, such as hospices, dental offices, med spas and sauna or float studios. State pages with no clinics, and city pages with only a few, search again about once a week.

Ratings and review counts are Google's, and we label them that way. We don't write, edit or remove reviews.

Details can change faster than any directory can track. Always confirm hours, prices, chamber type and insurance with the clinic before you go. Our editorial policy explains the process in full, including how to report a mistake.

Our guides

We also publish guides on the questions people ask most, starting with what HBOT is. Each guide cites its sources and shows a "Last reviewed" date.

What BestHBOT is not

• Not a clinic. We don't provide HBOT or any other treatment.
• Not medical advice. Nothing on this site replaces a conversation with your doctor about whether HBOT fits your situation.
• Not a booking service. To book, ask about prices or check insurance, contact the clinic directly.
• Not an endorsement. A listing means a business appears to offer HBOT. It doesn't mean we have checked its staff, equipment or results.

How we make money

Today the site shows no ads and no paid listings. If that changes, paid placements will always be labelled and won't change the normal order or ratings. The editorial policy covers this in detail.
