I was recently admitted into the hospital due to a a partial Nephrectomy of my Kidney. From the moment I stepped into the door I was greeted promptly by staff, nurses and doctors as well who were above and beyond anything I wouldn’t have ever expected. They were prompt to my needs, and I was treated like part of the family during my intensive stay. Dr Johnson and his staff were absolutely amazing. Before entering the hospital, I heard nothing but good. I take that back great comments about the work they do and the care they provide to their patients and the information was absolutely correct. I want to thank each one of You for everything you did for me. I’m now currently at home resting well during the recovery process. Sincerely, Douglas Russell Madisonville, Kentucky

Dr. Preston was awesome. Everyone that worked there, treated me like I was a king. A good group of people. I can't remember everyone's name. A nurse named Monica and a nurse helper named Rebecca. We're so Awesome. I thank them so much. They made a very painful situation into a great experience.

Absolutely the worst hospital ever! Was there in the er for almost six hours and never once saw a doctor ! Sat in waiting room over four before even got taken back ! So two days after walking out of the er I went to deaconess and was right away met with doctors and nurses because of how bad my breathing sounded ! Was admitted to the hospital and am doing better now thanks to the staff here!! Owensboro needs to come take lessons from deaconess for real!! Y’all are the absolute worst hospital in the state!

My sister has notified the hospital three times w/ no reply. Theresa Lanham dropped her for missing appointment but she called 2 days before and told them she didn't have transportation. She refused to supply her meds long enough for her to find another dr. She went cold turkey off cholesterol meds, diabetic pills and shots, thyroid meds, neuropathy meds and her hormone replacement. She was admitted to a hospital last night because of a suicide attempt. She called yesterday and the office manager named Chris was very rude to her. This isn't right. I will be talking to an attorney this afternoon. Its neglect. When she started all those meds Dr Lanham said not to abruptly stop taking and then she refused to fill them. If she passes away you better believe I will own a part of that hospital.

Only giving one star because it is making me. My grandmother had a stroke & not a single doctor called me to confirm the results finding the stroke. I voiced every concern I had with this hospital & they handled them the correct way. But I can’t let go of the fact I was not contacted by a nurse or doctor not one the whole 6 day stay. If I knew something it was because of mychart, or because I passed by a worker as I was there with her. I made it very clear that information needs to be ran by me & I feel like my loved ones having a stroke is not something minor that should’ve been brushed to the side. Also sitting in the ER 9 hours before receiving the proper testing that found the stroke didn’t sit well with me either. The comments I recieved when requesting for a uti test to be done was “I’m sure every older persons pee has stuff in it” if I have a choice I won’t send any loved ones back here. I was in a constant state of worry every second I was away from the hospital. Let’s not forget the 2 workers that called my grandmother by the wrong name. It’s scary enough that she went along with it because she doesn’t know better. But what if I wouldn’t have been right there to correct it and they truly had the wrong person? I was in constant shock with this place. I’ve never had issues with a healthcare place honestly but this did it for me.
