    Regarding their L&D and their NICU, I have nothing but good things to say. I love that the nurse stays with you in the room from the time I was induced to the time I delivered. I love the NICU is in the same room. It was a great blessing to be able to stay the night with my baby while he was cared for there. The locums NICU doc was a bit rough around the edges, but he was very thorough in his medical decision making and in making certain my baby was healthy enough to go home, which I’m grateful for. The nurses were all incredible advocates, incredibly kind, and incredibly knowledgeable.
    The billing department was awesome when I had to call them to reprocess my son’s bill.
    Housekeeping did a great job keeping the room clean all throughout our stay.
    All in all I would absolutely give birth here again!

    Mercy Hospital was super incredible, Succeeded our expectations! The staff and nurses were so careful , thoughtful and extremely caring with our 2 month old girl. ❤️ They made our experience feel like home away from home , with their exceptional care and kindness along with their endless support. 🥰 Nurses Peyton K and Pauline C in Peds we couldn’t thank you ladies enough for being patient , so kind and caring towards are little girl!💕 🥰

From the moment you walk in, you are treated with kindness, respect, and compassion. The doctors, nurses, and staff go above and beyond to make sure you feel comfortable, informed, and supported every step of the way.

    The facility is clean, modern, and well-organized, and everything runs smoothly even during busy times. The level of professionalism and teamwork is impressive, and it’s clear that patient care is their top priority. You never feel rushed, and they take the time to listen and address every concern.

    Absolutely terrible experience with Mercy’s ER and Mercy in general and will never be back. I needed to go to the ER for a specific treatment that I needed, so I called beforehand to make sure that they had what I needed there rather than having to make a trip to Iowa City. After being transferred to three different people, they told me with confidence that they had what I needed. That night, I go for the treatment. I get checked into the ER (check-in lady was rude), eventually get back into a room, they put in an IV, draw my blood, and tell me they’re waiting on the pharmacy for my treatment. After about an hour after all of that, they come back and tell me they actually don’t have my treatment despite being told on the phone AND when I got there that they did. They then tell me I need to go to Iowa City that night. So because of their negligence, I had to pay two ER bills from that night. And after playing phone tag with the patient advocate for about a week or two, she tells me they can’t do anything to my bill because they can’t track who told me on the phone that they had the treatment because they transferred me the three times. As if that is my fault. I then had her talk to billing, and magically they reduced my bill. Why not do that in the first place considering my circumstance? The bill was not reduced enough, in my opinion, for my time and money being wasted on an all night trip to two hospitals, the gas, and stress of it all. Go anywhere else if you want to be treated properly and with respect as a fellow human being.

    I have never seen a group of professional nursing staff like I here. Very caring, understanding on many levels. No words can be express enough of n all they do day in day out. I do appreciate all you have done, as you will see my kindness in return Monday afternoon. :)
    It's amazing no matter what if a individual wants to be better than they was before making this profession they will go above n beyond to prove to them selves they can achieve thier goal. This makes you a true hero, And God bless you again and again.
