Riverview Regional Medical Center

This hospital took good care of me and got me well when another hospital just medicated me and sent me home in bad condition. The emergency room was a bit rough to wait through but they recognized that I was in a lot of distress. I was admitted to the sixth floor and taken very good care of and they got me well quickly. I was admitted on Saturday and they had me back on my feet by Monday evening and ready to return home. The staff was very kind and compassionate and took great care of me. They treated my symptoms and addressed the cause. They checked on me all night often discreetly. There were not a lot of noises throughout the night and I was able to rest and mend. The food from the cafeteria was delicious and prepared with love. There were choices and the kitchen made sure I received my preferences every meal. I felt that they truly cared about my health and my comfort. I will choose them again when I need healthcare for sure! Thank you so much to the care team on the sixth floor, especially the night staff! You are my heroes. For this I am grateful.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the nurses who cared for dad. The pre-op nurses, Angela, RN, and Leigh L., RN, were incredibly kind, compassionate, and reassuring from the moment he arrived. They took the time to answer our questions, ease his nerves, and made him feel comfortable every step of the way. His post-op nurses, Angie, RN, and Angela, RN, continued that exceptional care, making sure he was comfortable, closely monitored, and well-informed throughout his recovery. Recovery nurse Kellie, RN, was equally amazing—attentive, gentle, and genuinely caring. Their professionalism, compassion, and dedication made such a stressful experience so much easier, and I am truly grateful for the outstanding care each of them provided. They are an incredible team, and he couldn’t have asked for better nurses

The experience I had was amazing! Everyone from Post op - Michelle and Jamie. Pre-op Leigh and Jamie. Jamie was so so nice and chatted about her bestie that wears hearing aids like me loved it. My OR team Carol Ann, Tasha and Susan. But the VIP for me was Rhonda Lowry in recovery, she was absolutely amazing and took so much in consideration for me. Really made me feel seen and heard. She took care of things that I was worried about before I even had a chance to worry. I woke with dentures in mouth and hearing aids in ears. I have had so many issues coming out of surgery and worried about these things. I'm younger so I am so self conscious and have actually paniced waking up without them. Thank you for being so patient and kind! My whole experience for the first time at this hospital was amazing!

I thought the wait time between check in and the procedure was excessive. I don't know if that could be improved upon or not. Everything thing else was as good as it could be. Everyone I came into contact with was amazing. Probably eight or nine different people. ALL were very engaging, nice,friendly and professional. The best staff that I have ever seen. I was there for a colonoscopy ,not a pleasant thing, but the wonderful staff made it as good as it could be. From the moment I walked in to the moment they rolled me out. EXCELLENT Service and care.

Teresa, Patrick, and the rest of the team were very attentive. Wish we could have gotten a little more info about the procedure results, but maybe at the follow up in a few weeks. (PS...loved the coffee too in the waiting room)
