    This hospital took good care of me and got me well when another hospital just medicated me and sent me home in bad condition. The emergency room was a bit rough to wait through but they recognized that I was in a lot of distress. I was admitted to the sixth floor and taken very good care of and they got me well quickly. I was admitted on Saturday and they had me back on my feet by Monday evening and ready to return home. The staff was very kind and compassionate and took great care of me. They treated my symptoms and addressed the cause. They checked on me all night often discreetly. There were not a lot of noises throughout the night and I was able to rest and mend. The food from the cafeteria was delicious and prepared with love. There were choices and the kitchen made sure I received my preferences every meal. I felt that they truly cared about my health and my comfort. I will choose them again when I need healthcare for sure! Thank you so much to the care team on the sixth floor, especially the night staff! You are my heroes. For this I am grateful.

    I cannot say enough wonderful things about the nurses who cared for dad. The pre-op nurses, Angela, RN, and Leigh L., RN, were incredibly kind, compassionate, and reassuring from the moment he arrived. They took the time to answer our questions, ease his nerves, and made him feel comfortable every step of the way. His post-op nurses, Angie, RN, and Angela, RN, continued that exceptional care, making sure he was comfortable, closely monitored, and well-informed throughout his recovery. Recovery nurse Kellie, RN, was equally amazing—attentive, gentle, and genuinely caring. Their professionalism, compassion, and dedication made such a stressful experience so much easier, and I am truly grateful for the outstanding care each of them provided. They are an incredible team, and he couldn’t have asked for better nurses

    Was seen at night, in hospital ER, xray staff were very friendly and informative. ER staff was on top of every concern that caused me to go to the ER. Was admitted on a Thursday night, all the additional test were ordered and complete by Friday night. The 7th floor staff was phenomenal!! Each of them did an amazing job to make sure i was comfortable and knew what to expect from the Dr's as well as a timeline. Unlike another local hospital, they were truthful about everything with me as well as with my daughters (which were both hours away). This has assured I will only be using Riverview from now own. Was discharged Sunday before lunch with a doable care plan. Thank you RRMC ❤️

    Teresa, Patrick, and the rest of the team were very attentive. Wish we could have gotten a little more info about the procedure results, but maybe at the follow up in a few weeks. (PS...loved the coffee too in the waiting room)

    I came in with an infection in my arm that was in a dangerous position and it was previously being treated for approximately 5 months by my general physician & a wound dr. Not two days after seeing my wound dr my arm looked like I had grown a grown a black second elbow the size of a golf ball. I'd been tough and managing my pain as extreme as it was, for those 5 months. That included being cut on weekly by my "wound care dr". The pain was so horrible air was like needles.
    As soon as they put me in the er room & blood work was done & I saw a PA I was admitted. I was seen by sweet nurses & equally sweet techs. A was seen very quickly by an infectious disease DR Jaiswal who was so kind & made me feel seen & very comforted for the 1st time in 5 horrible months. Another Dr (I'm sorry I forgot her name) she came in long enough to tell me that she would never & thought no one should ever operate on me & was very adamant about it. I then met orthopedic surgeon Dr Read. Talked to him briefly and said he & Dr Jaiswal were were very professionally feeling like I was gonna be in a dangerous situation if I didn't do the surgery. Someone came in and said that Dr Read would be operating the day after next... Not given a time until mid morning of surgery. I prepared & my nurses & the techs were amazing and one nurse even prayed with me. Leaving me in such peace. After my surgery I have to be honest and say that I was hurting so badly it felt like something was terribly wrong - still doesn't feel right. My Dr Read never ONCE checked in on me. My nurses continued to call & text him and he even said he was going to come and he didn't. I was scared to the point of a really bad panic attack. Everyone of the nurses and techs seemed to have the same feelings as I did. I had 5 days or He did rather to come by ...not one person even looked at my arm until a nurse had to do to the original one in hospital fell off! It's still the worst pain and I have no means of getting it. I came home with a picc line. The over all experience was wonderful as far as nurses and techs and housekeeping and the dietary people were lovely as well. I don't know Dr.Read or how he is practicing at your hospital but he needs to know how to treat people.
