  My grandmother was recently admitted to Thomas ICU for two weeks, and the care she received was absolutely outstanding. The entire staff went above and beyond to make sure she was comfortable and well looked after. I cannot thank the team enough for their professionalism and compassion during a difficult time. I want to commend Nurse Larry from night shift for the outstanding care they gave my grandmother.

  I almost never review hospitals but I'm making an exception in this case.
  Outpatient procedure at WVU Thomas Hospitals on 3/23/2026. Check-in was at 7:00 AM, and somehow they had me prepped by 7:40—honestly faster than most drive-thrus.
  Now, let’s be clear: going in for a procedure is not exactly how I’d choose to spend a morning. But the staff almost made me forget that part. Everyone was amazing—attentive, professional, and actually made the whole thing feel…easy.
  From the nursing staff to anesthesia (who deserve a special shoutout for the best nap I’ve had in a while), to everyone in the OR and recovery—five stars all the way.
  If I had to do it again, I’d pick this crew without hesitation.

  I want to commend Thomas Memorial Hospital's Emergency Department for providing exceptional care to my granddaughters. Dr. Jason Tackett and the nursing staff, particularly Ashley, were outstanding in their professionalism, kindness, and understanding. Unlike C.A.M.C., where we experienced poor bedside manner and a rushed atmosphere, Thomas Memorial Hospital's team took a different approach, answering all our questions and addressing our concerns in a thorough and compassionate manner. Their expertise and dedication to patient care were evident, and I am thankful for the exceptional service they provided.
  I'm deeply grateful for the extraordinary care my daughters and granddaughters received, particularly from Ashley, whose compassion, expertise, and reassuring presence stood out, and I appreciate every nurse who went above and beyond to address my concerns and answer my questions, ensuring every issue was resolved with utmost care.

  My brother is there at this time. I live out of state. I have been here with him in ICU for 3 days. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the care he is receiving. Every one of his nurses and doctors have been so attentive and caring. The staff in the hallway and desks are truly there to help you every way the can. I am really impressed

  Exceptional care to my husband. RN and LPN’s were amazing to us. He has a rare condition that we just found out about and they took great care. Timely with treatment and vitals. Handheld call that provides help when needed. Professional staff all around. Dietary visited each day to discuss meal planning. Clean and safe. Highly recommended and so happy we have these services close to us in WV! Interstate is close by.
