Tier 1 Therapy Centers

I had no idea of the many benefits of hyperbaric therapy until I ripped (not cut..ripped) my left half open so severely that my husband had to call the Virginia Beach Rescue Squad to take me to the hospital emergency room. On my last return visit to get my stitches out the ER doctor suggested I see a plastic surgeon (PS) as she suspected I was going to need a skin graph. The ER doctor scheduled an appointment with the PS and I went straight to his office. The PS recommended Hyperbaric treatments because it would help speed up the healing process but at that particular point he felt a skin graph would be require. He sent me to the Tier 1 Therapy Center in Norfolk. What a great group of people including Sarah, Kylie, Shaun and others who's names escape me at the moment ( my apologies). Anyway, I went 5 days a week for 5 weeks and results that I was initially skeptical about were amazing. An injury that I thought would never heal began to heal much quicker than I ever would have anticipated. Two days after my last session I went back to the PS. Now there is a good chance a skin graph will not be required. You have no idea what a relief not having to have a skin graph would be. I strongly recommend Tier 1 and suggest anyone interested look them up on the internet. I had no idea there are so many potential uses for Hyperbaric medicine including but no limited to wound care, brain injuries, inflammation, cognitive disorders, auto-immune disorders, etc. I highly recommend hyperbaric medicine and I especially want to recommend Tier 1 Therapy, a group of very knowledgeable, friendly and kind folks who truly care about your health.

I had the pleasure of healing from a surgical procedure with sessions at Tier 1. The entire staff is so kind and helpful. They make you feel completely at home and do whatever they can to accommodate your every need. Sessions are comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable. I would recommend to anyone interested in healing!

I cannot say enough great things about my experience with Tier 1! The staff are friendly, hospitable, funny, and compassionate! They always made everyone feel welcomed and heard. I had a total of 40 hyperbaric treatments for the symptoms I had suffered from mold exposure that led to CIRS (chronic inflammatory response syndrome) and CRPS (complex regional pain syndrome). I will admit that I did not start seeing results until just after my 20th treatment. In fact, some of my symptoms intensified. However, Sarah was able to explain to me what was likely causing that response and gave me hope that it would improve. She was right!! I soon realized that I was sleeping better, my short term memory was improving and all of a sudden I could organize my thoughts again! I felt like I had purpose again and there was renewed hope that I could get a lot of my life back. The CRPS in my foot did not resolve, but I did continue to have gains after stopping treatments. Before treatments I would have the most excruciating stabbing, burning, electrical pains in my foot which would prevent me from being able to do basic things. Although I am still having a lot of skin sensitivity and only able to wear a sandal, the most severe pains have almost vanished. I have great hope that the nerve damage done to my foot by inflammation will continue to improve and maybe even be fully healed. I owe so much gratitude to Sarah, Sean, Kylie, Kerrigan, Kylene, and Dr Steckler (who I got the pleasure of knowing better as an HBOT buddy for part of the time). I’m sure I have totally botched the spelling on some of their names, but I will never forget their smiling faces and kind hearts!

One year ago I had a terrible accident and it about killed me. There were multiple cuts and hand surgery and I was at a low point all around. A great friend within the Care Coalition said let me reach out to Teir one Hyperbarics Oxygen Therapy. I started doing 40 dives of healing and that happened! My brain was healthy my wounds were in front of my eyes healing and the healing stuck due to me doing the work necessary, you must do the internal work!
