Every once in a while you get a particular group of people together and it’s like catching lightning in a bottle. That is the group of professionals that’s at Charlottesville Hyperbarics. This is the best medical care I’ve ever received. I felt truly understood and appreciated through every part of my treatment plan.

Absolutely fantastic. To say that Charlottesville Hyperbaric's has been a life-changing experience feels like an understatement, truly, everything about it has been life-changing for me. I came to the hyperbaric center about a year ago sicker than I had ever been. I was in a lot of pain and completely at a loss for help. Ted and his team are the most extraordinary, passionate group of people I have ever met, from Grayson, to Jesse, to Gregor and everyone else there. Every single person was thoughtful, attentive, and genuinely cared. I was dealing with a number of unknown health issues, and over time, I saw real healing happen here. Several cysts became much smaller, and the daily pain I was living with steadily decreased. Ted and his team guided me through the entire process with so much grace and kindness, especially when I was honestly scared to try something new. I also experienced red light therapy there, which made such a difference that I ended up purchasing a device for my home. The infrared sauna was another incredible part of the experience, it felt supportive and gentle, helping with detox without ever feeling overwhelming. Everything about this place has been amazing. I am a true believer in oxygen therapy and what it can do. I could not recommend Charlottesville Hyperbarics and this incredible team more highly.

I completed 40 "dives" here as a complete protocol. Here's what I learned from 4 weeks of interactions with the team: As a combat veteran who's personal comfort is typically near the bottom of the list of the priorities, I almost felt like I was being problematic, because the staff at Charlottesville Hyperbarics seem almost obsessed with making sure you're comfortable at all times. Jesse is also a combat veteran, but you'd never guess (without the tattoos) because he almost seems to go out of his way to display the "soft skills." It's not fake, either. He's a very compassionate professional dedicated to caring for other veterans. Ted maybe the "older guy" in the room, but it only shows in the form of genuine wisdom. You can tell he really cares about the process and the science behind helping people. The facility feels incomplete when he's not around. Grayson and Gregor are quiet, but not because they have nothing to contribute. They're going to make you laugh and make you feel like you belong there, but never at the cost of feeling like you're in capable hands. They're technicians in every sense of the word. They had an answer for every question I had, and not once did I feel they phoned-in the answer, even when they were literally talking to me through a phone handset. I'm exceptionally grateful for the care I received here.

After sustaining multiple concussions throughout my high school football career that ended in 2013, I never realized the long-term consequences I'd be faced with. Chronic headaches, poor memory, and the inability to concentrate became my new "normal." I was aware of my sudden mood changes but couldn't control it in spite of myself. Fortunately, my wife's research led her to Joe Nameth talking on the Howard Stern show about chronic concussions in athletes and hyperbaric oxygen therapy as a solution. That very day, we discovered Charlottesville Hyperbarics and my journey to recovery began. After my third or fourth "dive," I definitely noticed the fog lifting and things like my memory improving. I didn't want to get too excited but I was very motivated to keep going. Ten or so dives later, both me and my wife noticed considerable improvements in practically all areas of my life including my mood changes and sleep. At the time I began HBOT, it seemed unlikely that I'd complete the entire protocol that they prescribed to me for chronic concussions. Looking back now, I'm so happy I did. Ted and Jordan were awesome and supported me throughout everything. I never knew the consequences that multiple concussions could have on someone. I wish every person with a history like mine finds and completes hyperbaric oxygen. I'm living a great life now with my wife and new daughter and am so grateful for Joe Nameth spreading the word about this. I recommend HBOT without question to anyone who's suffered from past concussions and is struggling.

The staff at Charlottesville Hyperbarics is wonderful. They really know what they’re doing and how to put their clients at ease during their visits. The facility and atmosphere are welcoming, clean and comforting. I cannot recommend Charlottesville Hyperbarics enough. They will take complete care of you.
