  • Dear Hospital Administration,
I am writing to formally express concern regarding hospital employees parking vehicles in a manner that obstructs the sidewalk adjacent to my residence.
On numerous occasions, vehicles associated with hospital staff have parked partially or fully across the sidewalk, creating barriers for pedestrians and preventing safe passage for individuals using wheelchairs, walkers, strollers, and other mobility devices. Obstructed sidewalks may also interfere with the deployment and use of wheelchair ramps, limiting access for individuals with disabilities.
Montana law prohibits parking on a sidewalk. Specifically, Montana Code Annotated § 61-8-354 restricts stopping, standing, or parking a vehicle on a sidewalk except where otherwise permitted by law.
In addition, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) establishes requirements intended to ensure that accessible pedestrian routes remain available and free from unnecessary obstructions. Sidewalks and curb ramps are essential components of accessible travel for individuals with disabilities, and blocking these routes creates significant accessibility concerns.
I respectfully request that the hospital review employee parking practices and take appropriate steps to ensure that sidewalks, curb ramps, driveways, and other pedestrian access routes remain unobstructed. Potential measures may include employee reminders, parking guidance, or coordination with local authorities to address recurring issues.
My intention is to bring this matter to your attention in hopes of resolving it cooperatively and maintaining safe, accessible passage for all members of the community.
Thank you for your time and consideration. I would appreciate information regarding any actions the hospital intends to take to address these concerns blocking access for a disabled person that gets dropped off by paratransit which helps disabled people get around town

  • This place is absolutely amazing! Before coming here I was under the care of doctor's that thought there wasn't much more they could do for my leg. Providence Wound Care took my 2 year wound that no one else wanted to touch and pretty much got me on the healing path. Before Providence it seemed like the only way I was gonna get healed was to cut 5he lower part of my leg off. Now since I've been seeing providence I can keep my leg and even walk on it. I would say that it's 80% healed. Again love this place.

  • My mother went to the Wound Care Clinic for treatment of chemical burns on her face. The staff was kind and caring. They did a great job of creating a plan of action, including follow up care. I would highly recommend this facility!

  • These people are so kind and wonderful!!! Thank you so much!!
