    I have been so impressed with the whole St. Mary's health system. I met with Dr. Kovalenko and his team yesterday for a knee replacement. Both Dr. Kovalenko and his nurse were amazing. They allowed me to take as much time as I needed to get all my questions, concerns, and options answered so I was completely comfortable with my up coming surgery. Highly recommend to anyone looking at orthopedic help.
    Very plesant group, quick to get you scheduled for appointments, and I have never waited more than 5 minutes in the waiting room.

    I cannot fully explain how grateful I am for this place. I can but I would be writing for days. Someone that I consider family needed my help. The day started with me driving from Boston to NH, when I found him we went to Portland Maine. I called detox after detox and all were packed. However, I was given wrong information when they said take him to Maine Health. We went there first and waited over an hour only to be told they would not give him a bed until one of the detoxes opened.
    This was very disappointing. However, with the grace of God, I found Saint Mary’s in Lewiston Maine. So we drove another hour there and finally succeeded. The security, nurse and Doctor we talked to were phenomenal. It ended with an emotional hug and hope of recovery now linger.
    Before I left, the guy at the desk even stopped me and handed me a piece of paper with the number to this department on it. I wish I wasn’t so far because I would have came back to visit.

    Had to go for thyroid biopsies here. The staff and doctor were amazing. They made me feel as comfortable as possible for a very painful procedure. I have NO complaints. They were professional, attentive, supportive, and very thoroughly sterile and clean.

    Dr. Boris Kovalenko is an outstanding Orthopedic Specialist who not only ask questions but listens to formulate a comprehensive plan, to get you on the road to recovery. I highly recommend Dr. Kovalenko. Outstanding Doctor!

    The staff at St. Mary's took very good care of me yesterday for my first cortisone shot in my back. Marie, Angel, Nicole, Candance, Ashley, and Dr. Reppel all were wonderful. I was nervous and they were all very warm, helpful, and put me at ease. Old hospital with great staff!!! Kristen and Kim at St. Mary's Physiatry have both been helpful and communicative too.
