If I could give Dr. Kim a rating of 100 stars I would do that. I have been going there for a while to use their hyperbaric oxygen chamber. When I found out that he does injections for pain, I asked him if he could do something with the pain in the back of my shoulder that radiates down my arm. He agreed to do that. I have had this debilitating pain for years after a prior surgery. It was to the point where I could not even use my arm. No doctors could help. They just kept referring me to physical therapy. And that was not helping at all, if anything it just made it worse. He did a guided injection, and it was an absolute miracle. I no longer have that pain, and I cannot describe the feeling I have to be able to use my arm again. He also agreed to do my mid back. For the last few years I have had a back problem in my upper back and no one would listen to me. I’ve been to several doctors and the pain gets excruciating to where there are days I can hardly lift my arms. I have even been to the emergency room. I finally went to a third pain specialist and he asked me if anyone has done an MRI. I told him no so he took an MRI. And he told me he could see what my problem was. I have T3 through T 10 in my thoracic spine herniated discs with some having basically no fluid left. The doctor told me there is not a surgeon in the world that can do surgery because of the organs in that area. I talked to Dr. Kim. He has today given me guided injections on each side of my spine. And I have so much faith in him, I know this will help. I thank him for helping me when no other doctors will.

I had a injection in my shoulder for a torn tendon to help it heal. I am having a lot less pain and alot more movement already. I am very happy with Dr. Sunny Kim's services and would highly recommend him and his friendly helpful staff to anyone looking to avoid a surgery.

So here are the details of my appointment with Dr.Sunny Kim. Upon first calling for an appointment I asked if it was covered by insurance and they did state the office visit was covered. Upon inquiring as to the firm of treatment I was seeking and inquiring as to if that would be covered I was told that they would not know until they submitted it to insurance for prior authorization. Once in the office all previous statements regarding the procedures for prior authorization became completely null and void. In visiting with Dr. Sunny Kim regarding my treatment options for PRP he stated insurance will not cover it and they will not submit prior authorization. I felt like I had just wasted an hour out of my day, and as a full time caretaker I do not appreciate being told one thing in making the appointment and the complete opposite upon them receiving my authorization to bill my insurance for the office visit. Also , I had to call my insurance agent for something else 2 days later and while on the phone with my insurance agent he stated that if the procedure is deemed medically necessary that they would cover it. I then merged calls with Dr. Sunny Kim’s office where Michelle took the call and began yelling at me and my agent in stating that she said we do not do prior authorization with insurance for procedures . This information which, again, contrary to what I was told when making the appointment could have been spoken using a calm and professional manner but it was not. I also have the recorded conversation when making the appointment where office staff stated they would only know if PRP injections are covered once they submit them to insurance . I feel Dr.Sunny Kim has a valuable form of treatment but his office staff lacks the integrity I require in working with professionals. In short I found staff member Michelle to be very abusive, and inconsistent with the information she provided upon making the initial appointment and now there is little trust in his methods of treatment .! In response to your comment Dr. Sunny Kim , office staff Michelle was yelling at me and my insurance agent and that is unacceptable and unprofessional. I have worked in the public domain my entire life and never once have I yelled at any clients or customers . There are these things called accepted rules of engagement and etiquette in communicating with the public and apparently Michelle is not aware of this. Id be happy to play the recording for you if you want proof .

I have been the beneficiary of the best care from Dr. Kim and staff. The best! I finally received a correct diagnosis and treatment plan for a condition that has caused me a great deal of pain for the past two years. Progressive Rehabilitation is not only the name, it is their philosophy, and to say I am grateful is an understatement . His team is professional, considerate and kind. Their focus, from the moment I called the office to make an appointment was to get me better. The clinic is state-of-the art, and the staff exceptionally well trained and completely committed to their patients care and safety. Thank you all so very much.

I received treatment from Dr. Kim for SI Joint pain. He is friendly and so was his staff. He is an intelligent Doctor and in theory I thought his treatments would work. I followed all of his guidelines for pain control including receiving an injection and going through physical therapy in his office. When he discharged me from treatment he told me I was doing better and it was successful. I did not feel any better but spent hundreds of dollars on treatment. I realize his treatments may work for some people but I think he was untruthful about his success rate due to how quickly he dismissed me when treatment was not successful.
