The care provided during a recent visit to the emergency room was exceptional. My mother had fallen and sustained significant injuries. She is an elderly woman and was frightened. The medical team had such a caring bedside manner that consoled her.
While we were in the emergency room we met this amazing employee named Doliana.
She was cleaning and supporting all the patients. She was so compassionate and caring. My mom was crying and she consoled her. She brought water a blanket and was able to calm my mother to accept the care she needed.
I would like to truly thank her for her exceptional service.
We thought she was a nurse but she was the housekeeper.
    Amazing woman!!!
    Thank you Doliana, God Bless

First time at this hospital as an nyc resident for years and had the best experience in pediatric emergency. They were quick i was out within an hr on a Saturday at around 12pm. Staff and doctor were so polite and cautious and followed up great to make sure they took all the peas out of her nose. My daughter is 2 and She had 5 peas!!! We couldn't believe it! Today's date is July 11th and I jus wish the staff and doctor today get huge recognition for this i am so thankful.

I am incredibly grateful for the care and support my family has received from **Jacobi Hospital Family Services**. From the moment you walk in, you can truly feel that the staff cares about the mental and emotional well-being of not only your child, but your family as a whole.

They go beyond just providing therapy. They take the time to engage with the family, listen to your concerns, and help connect you with additional services and resources when needed. Even the small things make a difference—while families are waiting for care, they provide drinks and light snacks such as sandwiches, crackers, and cookies. It creates a welcoming and caring environment during what can sometimes be a difficult or emotional time for families.

My daughter’s therapist, **Nadia, was absolutely amazing**. She was compassionate, attentive, and truly cared about my daughter’s well-being and progress. Although Nadia is leaving and my daughter will be transitioning to another therapist in the coming weeks, the experience we have had with Family Services gives me confidence that she will continue to be in great hands.

Thank you to Nadia and the entire staff at **Jacobi Hospital Family Services** for making sure my children and I feel supported and are in a healthier space mentally and emotionally. As a parent, knowing that there are professionals who genuinely care about your children and your family means more than words can express.

I truly appreciate everything you do for the families and children you serve. ❤️

I never truly understood how challenging it is to work in an emergency department until I witnessed it firsthand at Jacobi Hospital.

The ER was unlike anything I’ve ever seen. Hallways were filled with patients waiting for care. Ambulances kept arriving. There were people from every walk of life—car accident victims, elderly patients, people in police custody, and those facing life-threatening emergencies. The staff worked nonstop in what felt like impossible conditions.

Many patients waited for hours, not because they were forgotten, but because every case had to be prioritized by medical urgency. Once you see the overwhelming number of patients, you understand just how much pressure the staff are under.

What impressed me most was the teamwork. When a critical emergency was called, doctors, nurses, and other staff rushed together within seconds to save a complete stranger’s life. It was incredible to witness.

This experience reminded me how fragile life is and gave me a new appreciation for the people who dedicate themselves to saving others every day.

To everyone in the Jacobi Hospital Emergency Department: thank you. You have my deepest respect. I sincerely hope this hospital receives the staffing and resources its dedicated healthcare professionals deserve.

I called today to schedule an appointment as a new patient. I was told there were no appointments available until June, which I understand. However, before I could ask about alternatives or book a June appointment, the front desk representative hung up on me.

As a potential new patient, this felt very dismissive and unprofessional. I completely understand busy schedules, but I would have appreciated the opportunity to ask about other options, such as being placed on a cancellation list or securing the next available appointment.

I’m sharing this feedback because first impressions matter, and front desk communication reflects the practice as a whole.
