MD Hyperbaric in Tribeca is truly one of the best wellness experiences in NYC. From the moment you walk in, the staff makes you feel welcomed, comfortable, and completely cared for. The facility is spotless, modern, and very calming, exactly the kind of environment you want for healing, recovery, or maintaining great health. The team is incredibly knowledgeable and takes the time to explain the benefits of hyperbaric oxygen therapy and how it supports overall health, recovery, and wellness. So happy to have run across this location. Before discovering this location, I have always benefited from hyperbaric oxygen therapy outside of the U.S. Thankfully this location exists and we all can benefit from easy access. Every session feels relaxing and professionally managed, and you can tell they genuinely care about their clients’ results and experience. If you’re looking to boost recovery, support healing, or simply invest in your health, I highly recommend MD Hyperbaric Tribeca. It’s a hidden gem in downtown NYC and you can expect a 5-star experience at each visit.

I recently began using Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy at MD Hyperbaric, and it’s been one of the most unique and impactful wellness treatments I’ve explored. At first, I was drawn in by the potential benefits for anxiety, fatigue, and overall cellular repair, but I didn’t expect it to feel this restorative and my skin is glowing too! Alexa and Keith are absolute magic — warm, intuitive, and deeply knowledgeable. I’m really happy I found MD Hyperbaric!

This is my first experience with hyperbaric therapy. The Staff (Keith, my therapist) makes you feel extremely comfortable, is incredibly knowledgeable and articulate. Everything is super organized and very clean - I had no idea .what to expect - a very positive experience one week in and starting to feel relief from my recent hip surgery pain. For anyone curious about this technology - MD Hyperbolic Tribeca is a great place to come.

The people who work here are absolutely the best. I cannot recommend more highly. You’l love Alexa and Keith’s I didn’t really spend time with the others but I’m sure they’re just as wonderful. Also the Dr. on staff is fabulous and caring

I recently had my second knee surgery and my surgeon recommended hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) to support healing. After researching several facilities, I chose MD Hyperbaric in Tribeca and started treatment in December 2025. I’m currently 18 sessions into my 25-session package. Pros:
- Staff is friendly and professional - Clean facility with a straightforward process - Good promotional deals (I got 5 free sessions in December)
- Clear safety protocols including grounding mat for static electricity
- Flexible with schedule changes; accommodating when I needed to move appointments earlier or later in the day
- Can bring books/notebooks into the chamber Cons:
- Chambers are rated for 3.0 ATA but facility policy caps treatment at 2.4 ATA (this felt misleading since the intake person said they can go up to 3.0 ATA)
- Oxygen is delivered only through a mask, not by filling the entire chamber (some other facilities do full-chamber oxygen)
- One incident where a newer technician took much longer than usual to depressurize me, causing me to miss a business meeting
- Sessions purchased at one location cannot be used at their other locations (they operate more like a franchise)

Cost:
$5,600 (total) for 25 sessions (normally priced for 20 sessions, I received 5 free with December 2025 promotion) Process & what to expect:
- Change into provided clothing: 100% cotton pants, short-sleeve t-shirt, and socks
- Remove all jewelry, makeup, and perfume before treatment
- Avoid smoking or drinking before and after treatment
- Step on grounding mat to remove static electricity
- ~20 minutes to pressurize
- ~60 minutes at pressure (includes two air breaks where you remove the mask and breathe normally, so probably under an hour with the oxygen mask)
- ~20 minutes to depressurize
- Budget approximately 2 hours total per 60 min session

Tips:
- Let technicians know in advance if you have a time constraint or appointment afterward so they can stay on schedule with depressurization. - Cannot fly within 24 hours of treatment - MD Hyperbaric has multiple locations (including Upper East Side), but session packages are location-specific and cannot be transferred between locations. - They recommend to ramp up treatment and get as many sessions as possible in a week when you start Overall:
While I can’t yet confirm healing benefits for my knee, I’d rather complete the treatment than take the chance. The facility is professional and the process is smooth with accommodating staff.
