CHRISTUS St. Vincent Regional Wound & Hyperbaric Center

I realize I'm overdue in expressing my heartfelt gratitude for the exceptional staff at this facility. Countless team members genuinely made a significant impact on the care my father received during his weekly visits. We ultimately transitioned to a local podiatrist who provided weekly debridements and a new procedure called skin grafting for my father's wound, which is the only reason we stopped our visits here. I am especially thankful for Dr. Mulder and Maria, RN, who were instrumental in facilitating home health services for my father. Our journey was long and often frustrating; it often felt like we were pleading for wound care, and many were reluctant to listen. However, Dr. Mulder and Maria took the time to assist us by reaching out on our behalf. Dr. Mulder initially recommended my father for hospitalization when he was diagnosed with osteomyelitis and continued to provide the extensive care he needed for his chronic diabetic ulcer. Every week, we drove an hour from home to see this remarkable staff, who were consistently professional and welcoming. They truly made us feel like family, showering us with care and compassion. I cannot express enough gratitude for everything you all did for my father. I wholeheartedly recommend this facility to anyone in need of outstanding medical care.

This review is for the Christus St Vincent Wound Care and Hyperbaric Center. A previous reviewer mistakenly gave one star to the hospital five years ago. They are unrelated. The hospital is improving, though. My wife has received outstanding treatment in both the Wound Care and the Hyperbaric departments. They really know what they are doing. I would particularly commend Deborah Casswell, the main provider in the wound care center. She supervised and personally cared for a wound that has taken months to heal, visiting the center three times a week.

Every member of my family who has been to this place has always had god awful service. Food is dismal, doctors incompetent, nurses pathetic. As a result, any time anyone in my family needs to go to a hospital, we drive the 60+ miles to Albuquerque. There is a reason everyone in Santa Fe call it St. Victims.

My mother in law had to come to the Wound clinic,, every visit she had was good service,, nothing bad to say about this clinic..
