Dr. knows what he is doing. The rollie beds and massage gun before are a must to adjust my tight back. I continue to go here for chiropractic needs. Sort of expensive per visit but you get what you pay for.

I went to Chestnut Wellness center for assistance with PTSD symptoms. I received acupuncture treatment in order to help calm my flight or fight response. While I’m still going to need regular maintenance appointments, my anxiety has dissipated, I haven’t had panic attacks since beginning and concluding the first round of treatment, and anger hasn’t been getting stuck in my body for days on end. My quality of sleep has also improved drastically, and it feels easier to exist in the moment. I highly recommend going here, as they are very professional and give education with enthusiasm on whatever problems you are seeking assistance with, and will say “I don’t know,” to anything outside their scope of knowledge. I know I’m glad to have received their services!

In a day where motives always need to be evaluated due to the lack of honor and integrity from many positions of power, especially the medical world, Dr McDonnell is wonderful anomaly. Like a good problem solver, he prioritizes pinpointing the cause over treating (and retreating) the symptoms. For me specifically, I walked in with somewhat of an understanding my problem. Within minutes with Dr McDonnell, my root cause was found and corrected. Now I’m actively receiving treatments for the healing process. Not a bandaid on a bullet hole, but real healing. I am truly grateful to have found Dr. McDonnell, because we have little choice but to trust the person charged with helping us heal. He’s the first doctor in my life I will continue to see consistently. The girls in the office are kind, caring, and professional. And for the people who walk through the door, most of whom are there because they aren’t “feeling” well, are met with joyful spirits. I am thankful for the culture created and maintained at Chestnut Wellness, and for the tangible impact Dr McDonnell has had on my quality of life. Would, will, and have recommended this practice to everyone in need of actual healing. Thank you all!

Only good things from this place! All of the staff are great! I started going here because of prolonged pain I had from multiple sports, and it's only been getting better. Visits are pretty quick for me and they make sure everything is laid out and easy to understand. Not to mention Dr. McDonnell is practically a walking encyclopedia, the first time I met him he had a quick diagnosis and what needed to be done already planned. If you have any issues, know that it can't hurt to check it out!

My experience with Dr McDonnell (20+years) has always been very positive. He has helped me, my wife and both of my parents. Very knowledgeable and caring. Brian has helped with acute, restorative, and maintenance care. His staff has always been attentive and helpful. His current staff is very friendly and treat you like family.
