Coming from someone who dislikes going to the doctors, I love my providers here at Harvard Vanguard. I always see the NP and she was made for this field. She is very caring, smart, and overall great. Thank you Carolyn for always making me comfortable in a space that gives me anxiety!

Atrius just keeps getting worse and worse, the relatively recent optum acquisition has really obviously put pressure on them to cut costs. PCPs are obviously overworked with difficulty managing patient load. For one of the original stars of the ACO world this organization feels like a joke with a physical wait of more than a year out for an established patient with a PCP who’s overdue. Offices feel like they’re not getting any upgrades any time soon and even NPs I’ve seen are micromanaged and overloaded . It’s even more insulting they claim they’re taking new patients when they clearly cannot handle their current load over multiple visits . This is likely pressure from the administration to just see as many patients as possible to milk insurance dollars , quality be damned. I’ve been very disappointed with their “care team” approach where nobody really talks to each other or has a holistic view of your health issues . My wife has had similar problems . Stay away from Atrius , it’s no long what it was .

I have been a patient of Dr Shokri for nearly 20 years. You will not find another human being that cares more about your overall health than he. He is honest, straightforward, and detailed in all of his appointments. If you are looking for a new doctor - pick him! If you are already seeing him then you know what I am talking about. Dr Shokri is simply the best!!

Very bad experience with billing. In previous experiences with other medical centers, they would notify me ahead of time if my insurance did not cover the requested treatment. Be aware that this is not done by Atrius neither they will do anything to help their customers after they end up with a huge bill.

Nick at the pharmacy is absolutely lovely! I was having issues with a prescription (insurance issues surprise surprise) and he walked me through exactly what to do and say to get my issue resolved. When the resolution was to transfer to a CVS he was extremely helpful in getting the prescription transferred over ASAP so that I didn’t go without any medication. 100000000/10
