STHS Clinic for Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine

I have lymphedema and I had wounds. They saw me, got me better, and referred me to St Tammy lymphedema clinic. Lymphedema clinic was terrible experience. They want to wrap people and see them every 2 weeks because they don’t have appointments available! They work till 5 but you can’t get and appointment after 1 or 2. I scheduled way ahead of time the slots I needed , the girl at the front desk scheduled them all wrong, on the one day I said i couldn’t come, and her response was oh well there are no appointments now. Terrible… I was barely walking when I started out and they were going to put me right back there after all the work and appointments I put in to get better!! I went back to wound care and they took me back so they could wrap my legs and then helped me get the Circaid for my legs. They Went above and beyond to help me. Dr Kessels is wonderful and caring. Christy got my circaid ordered and delivered in no time. All the ladies over there are wonderful! I cannot recommend them enough!

I spoke to Ms M. Toups today & I was told very nicely the hospital will help Veterans & the VA but we DO NOT ACCEPT veterans without private insurance to bill for the Wound care STHS Clinic. 😳😤. I asked her if they would accept a CC or cash for their physicians in wound care & she said they would not ! #armyveteran #usa #va #vaveterans
