As a mother of a patient at this facility, I highly recommend to anyone needing this type of treatment.NEVER have I came across such caring and compassionate people ANYWHERE. This team of people go above and beyond for their patients. Professionals at its finest. a very clean facility and very caring team. Patients are treated like family during treatment and after. The treatment itself is phenomenal.very high cure rate with treatments versus amputation.in need? Consider this facility for all your treatment needs.

My wife also posted on here but I felt I needed to as well. I have completed 37 treatments for complications from diabetes and feel great. My doctor and I have discussed making this an annual treatment plan for preventative care with diabetes in the future. The office is new, clean and I felt safe and comfortable the entire time. Bethany and Sophia are amazing!

I had a complicated, deep open wound after a reconstructive breast cancer surgery. Because I had radiation treatment, the tissue would not heal and the surgeons decided that HbO treatment was my best chance to improve the health of the skin so I could have a third surgery to close it permanently. I was very skeptical, but Paul Dieruf, the director, answered every one of my questions and told me he had seen it heal hundreds of people. The process is time consuming, but the staff at ROC helped me every step of the way. They communicated with my surgeon, the staff at wound care, and other doctors to help coordinate all my treatment. They even arranged with UK to schedule my treatment and surgery so that I could still attend my son’s graduation out of state. There was someone there at all times when I was in the chamber and I was never alone if I needed anything at all. There is a physician and medical staff there at all times if you are experiencing any kind of complication or even if you are just not feeling well. I was able to avoid going to my doctor’s office a few times just by virtue of having medical staff available to me at ROC to make sure everything was fine. The pressurized chamber takes some getting used to, and I did have to get ear tubes put in as it turned out I have small Eustachian tubes and my ears wouldn’t always clear. But it was a very easy procedure and once that was done I experienced no discomfort at all. The chamber is roomy and clear and not claustrophobic. I did have some anxiety at first, and so I took a low dose of hydroxizine for a while. But after I got used to it, it was easy. You can watch any TV program or movie you want, and so I watched all the things I never get to watch at home. In response to another comment about safety, Paul showed me all the things he had done to exceed the requirements for safety in the facility. Protocols were always followed by staff and Paul takes all concerns seriously. Because of the complexity of my wound, I had a long course of treatment, but when I had my third surgery, the surgeon said that the radiation damaged skin had been restored to normal, healthy skin. After the wound was closed I did a few more sessions and it healed up quickly and completely with zero complications. The surgeons were all very impressed. I’m extremely grateful to Paul and the staff at ROC for providing this treatment and getting me healed up. Without this facility my options would have been very limited and I might have continued to experience severe complications or even lost my life in the process. I’d recommend them to anyone. As an added bonus - I used to have thin hair, and that was completely restored too! It’s now thick and healthy. My hairdresser was amazed! And I’m told it’s permanent.
