Ascension St. Vincent Evansville

The nurses, physicians, technicians, transport individuals and all the staff was so kind and caring during heart issue. My experience was great and I enjoyed talking with the staff. My only negative was being in the ER for eighteen hours before I could get a room. With saying that the staff made accommodations for me and got me a hospital bed to sleep on in the ER. The hospital was full and just slowed down that process. The hospital did their very best to take care of me during my heart attack. Thank you for all you did for me and my family.

I recently had the experience of visiting Ascension St. Vincent Evansville, and I was impressed by the level of care and professional expertise available at such a comprehensive facility. As the flagship hospital for the region, it’s clearly equipped to handle a wide range of complex medical needs. The staff was attentive, and the hospital's status as a Magnet-designated facility for nursing excellence really shows in the quality of the care provided. It’s a reassuring place to have in the community, particularly given their advanced trauma and specialty services.

The transporter personnel were great! Techs as well. One whole day in hospital with nothing but labs and the next was fast paced for why I was admitted, quick decisions to make and then expedited. Approx 2 hrs from shift changes to see a nurse in charge. Was so surprised at that fact however staff was courteous . I’m a nurse from 1975 and things are not how I was taught.

Very professional and friendly personal. Dr. Conaughty explained everything to me about my surgery. Wonderful doctor I would recommend him to all my friends.Felt right at ease with your nursing staff and therapy staff. Felt like they were your friends not just doing a job.

I was in the CVICU all of the healthcare employees and support staff were absolutely the best and went above and beyond. I had to have 4 heart stents placed here after having 3 placed in Vincennes. There is nothing bad I can say about my experience with them. I was in critical condition and their abilities and choices saved my life. They took great care of my husband and son also. One of my nurses who goes by Huck is absolutely the best nurse I have ever had. All of the nurses were awesome. The doctors, surgery support staff and housekeeping were also the best.
