MedStar Health: Wound Care at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital

I am very pleased at the way my foot is feeling and healing. I didn’t have any knowledge of the importance of being a diabetic how important it is to take care of your feet. However my foot doctor showed me the importance of taking care of my feet. My foot has been healing ❤️‍🩹 up nicely. With the help of my foot doctor and his staff I have been so grateful of the support and encouragement that they have provided to me. I am very thankful.

Dr. Sternberg and his staff are always professional courteous very efficient and always has my well-being. His eyes are all on me and someone is taking notes and another is charting my work as in every department I go to at Georgetown University Hospital!!! Thank you Dr Sternberg for excellence care.

And last but definitely not least is my podiatrist great chair side professional, gives a very thorough assessment of my feet examination, including recommendations on continued care. Dr. Attinger is a miracle worker, along with his staff at Wound Care at Georgetown University Hospital. They walked me through what would happen and then held my hand right afterward the amputation. Then following the Dr's orders plus nursing staff and home health nursing and physical therapy and now prostheticianist I'm now walking and enjoying life again. Thank you so much 💓
