I also want to recognize Robert in the Hyperbaric Oxygen Wound Care room. He was truly amazing. He has a calm and funny demeanor, which immediately puts patients at ease. You cannot help but smile or feel lighter when he is around, even during a situation that can feel scary or overwhelming. His attention to detail is outstanding, and he manages multiple responsibilities seamlessly while still making each patient feel like they have his full attention. He is extremely patient and takes the time to walk through every step of the process, explaining things clearly to make sure you feel comfortable and informed. I walked in feeling scared, but by the time I was ready to go into the hyperbaric chamber, I felt completely calm because I trusted him 100 percent and knew I was in good hands. That level of reassurance is priceless for someone going through treatment. Now I actually look forward to my wound care appointments because the staff there is simply amazing, and Robert plays a huge role in creating that positive experience. I would recommend anyone going through breast cancer treatment or wound care to this team without hesitation. The compassion, professionalism, and support they provide are exceptional, and they made a lasting impact on my experience and recovery. I am deeply thankful for This whole office team.

I’ve had a great experience with both hyperbaric medicine and the wound care center. I started hyperbaric treatment following a major surgical procedure while I was still in the hospital and continued as outpatient. While going in the tube for treatment was anxiety inducing, the staff made sure I was as comfortable as I could be. Robert was thorough and thoughtful as he talked me through everything he was doing each time. He proactively addressed wound issues and made sure I was equipped with supplies between visits. Following hyperbaric treatment, I’ve continued to see the wound care team weekly. David at the front desk is kind and gets me back to be seen quickly and is always prepared to schedule my next visit. The techs, nurses and nurse practitioners are knowledgeable and have provided instruction and let my husband and mom film them so we can do proper care at home. When I had concerns about my wounds between appointments, Mayra was able to squeeze me in and answer questions and address my issues. While I’d never want anyone to have to go through this process, the staff in the hyperbaric medicine and wound care center have made it as easy as possible to recover and get back to my pre surgery self.
