New Milford Hospital, part of Nuvance Health

This hospital needs to be seriously reviewed by management. I went there the other night to the ER thank God it wasn't serious.. I was so disturbed by the very!! poor attitudes, 0- compassion employees and the lack of knowledgeable Pa's or Doctor's on staff was scary. It's was like a nightmare couldn't wait to get out of there. It made Danbury seem like a dream.. Never going back!!!!

I’ve been here a few times for a few different reasons. This time was just follow up x-rays. I got here early before radiology opened. They were nice enough to check me in through emergency. However, my doctors office never sent the script. When the regular crew came in, they also checked. They gave me a direct fax number for the doctor. The entire staff was great including Samantha the x-ray tech. I know sometimes New Milford gets a bad rap, but if not for my doctors office today I would’ve had a great experience.

I recently experienced New Milford Hospital for two routine preventative health procedures, and I couldn't be more impressed. From the moment I received my pre-appointment calls, to the warm welcomes at the main check-in and reception desks in Imaging & Radiology and Endoscopy, the entire process was seamless and reassuring. The professionalism and kindness of the nurses, techs, anesthesiologists, and doctors truly made what could have been an unpleasant experience manageable, easy, and even comfortable. The team at New Milford Hospital went above and beyond to ensure I felt cared for every step of the way. And I received the nicest follow-up calls checking in on me the day after. If I could give them 10 stars, I would! 5 stars just don't seem enough. Thank you Nuvance and New Milford Hospital!

Excellent service. Our son was injured in early June and went to the New Milford ER late on a Saturday night for a wrist injury. The service and care was excellent, and thorough. Living 1400 miles away, we expected a litany of complexity in getting information and insurance coverage. No issue at all. We had a medical power of attorney which opened every door we needed in terms of getting documentation. Th staff there assisted in getting us a local orthopedic appointment very quickly. Highly recommended.
