Thrive Hyperbarics

This "add on" therapy to my RA treatment has gotten me better results than most of the therapies and meds I've tried/am currently using. I'm a side sleeper who has not been able to sleep on my left side for at least two, but probably closer to three or three and a half years due to pain in that shoulder that never really goes away. It gets better or is lessened but never gone. There have been mornings that I have dreaded having to get up out of the bed because of the pain I know I'm about to experience in my knees. Some days I stay in my office instead of my normal routine of making the rounds at the school where I work to say good morning to the staff and students. That was before. Now there's an after. I traveled from Florida to California for this treatment and spent two weeks on an intensive schedule. I didn't notice much while I was there but about 3 days after I got home I woke up one morning and I didn't have any pain in my shoulder. I even moved it all around "looking" for the pain or discomfort but it was nowhere to be found. Then I noticed that it wasn't hurting my knees to get up from a seated position which has always been worse than sitting from a standing position. I also found relief for my ankles and have only about 10% of the pain I've lived with over the last 5 years. Even during a recent flare, my knees still didn't hurt and there was only discomfort and not outright debilitating pain in my shoulder and ankles. I see my chiropractor one to two times a week and when I went to my chiropractor a week after I got back and not having seen her for three weeks, I expected a full "tune up". My lower back needed a lot of help but that was it. She was a little bit bewildered but impressed that it was the only area that needed attention especially after not having seen her for so long. I'm already thinking about how I can get back to California to do another round. This has made such a wonderful difference and it was completely unexpected after having so many different failed attempts at alleviating pain without major drugs or surgery.

This review is long overdue. I had surgery a few months ago and my surgeon recommended that receive hyperbaric treatments to speed up my healing. I found Thrive Hyperbarics on Yelp and called Brian for a quote and booked shortly after realizing that he offered the most affordable deal for my budget, not to mention, he was super accommodating and kind over the phone. I knew I picked a winner!🏆 Upon arriving to his facility, I signed in and noticed how clean and spacious his business was. I was super pleased for I am a big germaphobe. Brian continued on explain the ins and outs of hyperbaric treatments and answered all of my questions. I decided to go with 90 min hyperbaric sessions to aid my healing. When entering the hyperbaric chamber, it felt as if you are entering a mini spaceship to healing. You are administered supplemental oxygen in the hyperbaric chamber, along with a blanket and water bottle. You can opt to watch a movie while in the chamber to help you pass the time. He has an array of movies via Netflix, etc. Brian stays with you the whole time to ensure your comfort and safety while receiving the hyperbaric treatment. It’s been a few months since my treatments and have healed so wonderfully. My bruising subsided within a week, and my incisions healed much faster as a result of the hyperbaric treatment. My surgeon highly recommended hyperbaric oxygen treatments to help with my recovery. He specifically said to be sure to use the chamber method for at least 5 consecutive days. I called so many places and when I spoke with Brian, he was the nicest and most informative. He was always on time, super clean and definitely accommodating to my procedure needs. I let him know I get claustrophobic and he talked me through every session. He put a movie on for me, checked on me and made sure I was comfortable. I recently completed 10 sessions of HBOT at Thrive hyperbaric. Brian is an outstanding clinician who is extremely knowledgeable and attentive so I was very good hands. Hyperbaric therapy is commonly used for wound healing, as well as scuba diving injuries, but I sought hyperbaric therapy treatment as a reset to better health. Brian was so accommodating with my work schedule, and I so much appreciated him working with me. Brian is very professional and scheduling is super easy with him. He keeps his Hyperbaric chamber clean and the facility is very nice to sit and wait for my appointment. He has a nice video TV setup to make the time pass in the chamber.
