A Step Up

A Step Up, a residential dual diagnosis treatment facility in Cotati, Calif. is run by unprofessional, disorganized and *uneducated* staff who attempt to gain control of their clients through a series of manipulation tactics and gaslighting. It was an uncomfortable environment due to the constant friction between staff and clients. Treated very unfairly, likely due to their lack of training around mental health. It is a great idea, in theory, but poorly executed.
