When I first started my journey with Dr. Mevissen and her staff, it was one of uncertainty. How could they help and support me during my recovery journey. Every step of the way they were supportive and encouraging. They refuse to let pts quit on themselves and the process. Six months later, I have the proof it works, from hyperbarics to wound care. They have got me back on my feet and moving in a positive direction. This is a great clinic with a great atmosphere for healing. If you are in need of treat with a GREAT staff, Wound Evolution is the place to come for healing and support during your journey.

I was a patient at Wound Evolution at two different times in 2025. In March thru May I was being treated for second degree burns to my foot. In October thru January, 2026, I was being treated for an open wound from an accidental fall. The treatment in both cases involved plans for healing and an aggressive approach at preventing infection. I had appointments at least every week at which the doctor closely monitored my progress and the nurse treated and bandaged my wound. I like that I saw the same doctor and nurse at each appointment and was confident that I was getting the best treatment available. The receptionist was very efficient at scheduling. I would return to Wound Evolution if again I need competent wound care. My sincere thanks to Dr. Mevissen, my nurse Edye, and to Kayla for her help with my schedules.

Dr Mevissen is an excellent wound care doctor. She and the other ladies who work there have done their best to help heal my wounds on my feet. I have been to other wound care doctors before and they haven’t done half as much to help heal my wounds. I wouldn’t recommend any other wound care clinic besides Wound Evolution. I have to drive an hour to get to my appointment every week, but it is absolutely worth the time. Do yourself a favor and come to Wound Evolution first. You’ll be happy that you did!

The entire staff is so knowledgeable and helpful! Kayla was kind and skilled in helping me find appointment times that accommodate a busy schedule. Madison and Edye were efficient and compassionate, which allowed me to feel comfortable.
