Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Gadsden

We had the most awesome experience there. My husband got the best care. They used new training techniques that we had never gotten in previous rehab. The food there was also excellent. They gave them choices. Let them choose what they wanted to eat, which enables them to get the Nutrition that they actually need by eating things that they really like. The nursing staff and care professionals there are top-notch. We had an awesome experience. He was very well taken care of. I did not hesitate to leave him there and be able to go home and spend some quality time for myself. If anyone is looking for a rehab impatient environment I highly recommend this establishment. This was my first experience with rehab. The staff were very supportive and helpful. The nursing staff were supportive and friendly. If l was in need of anything or assistance they helped. The PT staff and the OT staff were great. They were knowledgeable and very patient with me. They taught me how to take care of myself at home. That was much needed information since I only have one leg to stand on. As for the exercises l can do most every thing at home. I do continue my exercises everyday. The dietary staff that l met were very friendly. I like how they give options for the meals and the food was very good in my opinion. There was a little concern with some of the day techs but l have already spoken with two people about that. I would recommend your facility to anyone needing rehab.

The nursing staff is the highest quality. Very well trained and if you are in pain they will get you feeling better. The PT and the OT are the best to get you back on your feet and going home. I would highly recommend Encompass Health.

The facility and the staff are above reproach. The care the CNA provided and express for my mother is exemplary. The respiratory staff is amazing, especially Roy. He is genuinely concerned and goes beyond expectations and gives so much more than any other healthcare professional that I have experienced. The case worker that kept us informed was always aware of every detail and followed up with each question with such knowledge of involvement. I believe what little interaction through staff the CEO was involved in showed that the staff are an extension of their superiors. If the top cares about their patients it shows through their employees. I am forever grateful for Gadsden Encompass and will always compare every facility to that standard of care!

It was a rough start, but the next day was wonderful. Everyone treated me kindness and respect. I got my first PT's and though they were hard I feel like everything will go great with their expert help. They take their job of helping you get back to 100% very serious. Highly recommend!
